New Jersey Shines in 2025 Best Senior Living Rankings

Seniorly’s 2025 Best of Senior Living Awards has recognized 336 top senior living facilities across America, with New Jersey earning a prestigious spot in the rankings. Arbor Terrace Mount Laurel secured the #2 position nationally, highlighting the Garden State’s commitment to exceptional senior care.

The comprehensive analysis, which evaluated 500,000 online reviews across 60,000 facilities, also identified two other notable New Jersey communities: Brandywine Living at Livingston and Morningside House of Collegeville. These Northeast region standouts were selected based on six critical categories: cleanliness, dining services, staff ratings, value, care services, and overall resident satisfaction.

To qualify for these prestigious awards, communities needed to rank in the top five percent of consumer sentiment ratings, maintain a clean licensing record for the past 36 months, and avoid negative media coverage for two years.

While California led all states with 65 award-winning facilities, New Jersey’s presence among top-ranked communities demonstrates its strong position in quality senior living options. The rankings highlight facilities across various scales, including smaller “board-and-care” homes that often provide personalized care at competitive values.

According to Seniorly CEO Arthur Bretschneider, these exceptional communities significantly impact “physical health indicators, cognitive health, social engagement, and overall well-being and happiness” for seniors across the country.
